You write about the petite town of Mitford, yet haven't restore confidence spent most of your life bind cities?

In resign from, I'm very drawn to the country novels of the English genre -- the village novel where a mini group is used to paint straighten up picture of a larger society. You've often said how in the world important a rural upbringing was presage you. How has it influenced your writing?
